Hey Everyone!
I hope everyone had an awesome holiday, I sure did! I spent most of my time with family which is probably my favorite thing to do. Well it's 2016!! Its a new year and time for new goals. I have a ton of goals that I have set for myself. One being getting back on track fitness and health wise! I cut myself a little slack the last few months. I haven't been going to the gym much because I wanted to give my body sometime to heal and I wanted to loose the "obsession". What I mean by that is the gym was taking over my life it almost became a priority in my life. I would get anxiety about trying to fit it into my schedule. But I think I'm ready to get back into the swing of things! I don't know why but working out just makes me feel better and actually gives me more energy! My goal is to find a healthy balance and to realize that I don't need to work out every single day! I think its important to set goals and challenge yourself!! I find a lot of people set goals for themselves but they don't follow through with them. I wanted to share some tips that you can use when setting your goals:
- write down your goal and ask yourself if it is realistic and manageable.
- write down what you have to do to reach your goal (i.e to lose weight you need to eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise regularly)
- be consistent with the things that are going to help you reach your goal
- find things that motivate you to stay on track
- Ask for help! If you need advice or help ask for it don't be shy!
- if you fall off the wagon get back on ASAP!
- DONT GIVE UP!
